Can I use probes with Iowa Black FQ or Iowa Black RQ on Applied Biosystems Real-Time PCR systems?
Iowa Black FQ and Iowa Black RQ labeled probes can be used on any qPCR instrument. Software setup varies between instruments, but generally, the options listed as "non-fluorescent (NFQ)", "none" or "dark quencher" are applicable.
The same setting used for MGB quenchers may be used for Iowa Black dark quenchers.
